COLLECTION COUNTERS are still needed at all the parishes. Church of the Atonement, St. Bernard and St. Patrick collections are to be counted in the churches immediately after Masses and deposited thereafter. Because of the three Masses at St. Rose they are to be counted on Mondays in the Church and deposited immediately. These are requirements pursuant to the Diocese. Anyone interested in assisting, please call the Consortium Office at 740-342-1348. Thank you for contributing your time to this important function.
There are a lot of open dates for Masses to be said in 2019. Remember family members and friends with a Mass for the repose of their souls. Masses can also be said for special Intentions, when special prayers are needed for various circumstances. The person making those kinds of requests is not mentioned, as to who the Mass is from. The stipend amount is $10.00, which goes to the priest celebrating the Mass. Requests can be dropped in the collection baskets with an envelope marked where the Mass is to be said, what the intention is, and who it is from. There are only 52 Sundays in the year for Masses at Church of the Atonement, St. Bernard, and St. Patrick so some requested dates at those parishes are limited.
